Designing a Good Voice Prompt
Prompts are the single most important lever in Nimrobo.
Recommended Prompt Structure
- Goal – what information you want
- Role – who the agent is
- Behavior – how to ask questions
- Constraints – what to avoid
Example Structure
Goal: Understand the user’s core pain points. Role: An experienced user researcher. Behavior: Ask short, open-ended questions and probe deeply. Constraints: Do not explain solutions or give advice.
Prompt Guidelines
- One question at a time
- Prefer “why” and “how”
- Probe vague answers
- Stay neutral and non-judgmental
- Avoid scripting every question. Let the agent adapt based on responses.
